Firefly - Shindig (Inara)
I has always liked this scene - and I love iconing Inara because she's just so pretty - but I could never get the colouring quite right and everytime I tried to icon it everything turned out an ugly shade of yellow, until this icon!
I must say when I look back at them, I hate most of my icons, and this is one of the rare ones I don't and infact actually quite like :)


Garden State
This scene has always amused me. Yes it's dumbass humor, but it really makes me laugh, and it's totally something I could see my friends do... Actually they have done similar things, although not quite as bad as the person was not required to strip the next day.
And it's a good 'balls' icon to use when annoyed or feeling like a loser :P


Doctor Who - The Unquiet Dead (Rose)
This episode of Doctor Who scares the shit out of me - yes I can deal with people eating aliens, daleks and cat-nurses, but ghost stories I cannot... But I can't deny the prettiness! This icon was one of the rare contest entries I actually liked, although I don't think I won anything!

I officially love John Barrowman more than I already did - if that is even possible...

Him and his partner adopted a Jack Russell pup! And called him Captain Jack *giggles* And I'm pretty sure that pup will end up trying to shag pretty much everything that moves, just like big Captain Jack...

Okay dreamhost just billed me $200 I do not owe them. For 2008. *facepalm* I am just so glad I do not have automatic payments. They billed every. single. one. of their clients for the entire 2008. Which sucks. It sucks even more when you consider thats lots of people have set up to have their bank account automatically debited. So yeah. BIG UH-OH.

I can't sleep right now, so I thought I'd deal with a few loose ends and open up Weasley is our king!, a small shrine for my most favorite book & movie character EVER. :D

Finally the promised pictures of the Mont Saint-Michel :D I only posted a handful here (because I am tired and feeling lazy :p), but you can view the entire set at emmahyphenjane.com :D

The lighting is really weird on some of these, but the weather was strange and it was sunny one moment and dark and cloudy the next, but I think it looks kinda cool! There was tons of people, but I do think I managed to cut them out quite well when I took the pictures! :D

So I'm back. And tired. I'll make a real post tomorrow after getting some sleep :D

Summer seems to have finally figured out it was time for it to start showing a little, so I made the most of a nice sunny afternoon to take some pics :D

I can't believe I forgot to pimp this! I feel shocked! Anyway, two days ago I finally got round to doing something I have been planning for some time; a personal website/domain. I present you the terribly egocentric domain:

Not tons of stuff there, but I'll add more silly pages about my fandoms and such as I go. I will also be archiving my old photos there (once I find the discs I have them on!) and new ones (once I feel inspired to get my camera out :p)

The layout is simple, but I certainly didn't want anything flash! And I've noticed that as time goes by, I'm more and more into simplistic designs. So let me know what you think :D

So I have a dozen things to do, web-wise and real life wise (Some big changes are creeping up in my life :D) and what I am doing? Listening to music full-blast, singing along and playing in Photoshop. I don't really feel in a serious graphic making mood, so I made this....

It's a glorious summer day and I'm sitting on the front doorstep with my laptop on my knees, watching bumblebee frolic in the flowerbed and messing around trying to fix some layout coding, so....

First Impressions Meme

I'm currently capping Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets and I already have close to 6000 caps, and they haven't even entered the Chamber yet. I am doomed. Well maybe not doomed, but that is a little overkill.

Oh and I have capped a crapload of Doctor Who (pretty much all series 2 and I'm slowly working my way through the series 3). I cap mainly for my own use, because I'm anal like that, and you can view them in the galleries (for series 2 so far), but if anyone is interested in zip files, let me know I'd be happy to upload :)

I'm getting Deathly Hallows tomorrow and I'm spending the weekend with some old school friends so I won't be around for a few days :D

I find it highly amusing that while I'm working on the fanlisting for The Doctor and the Master, iTunes starts playing Voodoo Child (the 'here come the drums' songs from episode 3.12 The Sound of Drums). I love it when iTunes is psychic.

I rewatched Human Nature/The Family of Blood last night and WOW I love those episodes. David Tennant is really amazing in it and I find it very emotional and yet hilarious at times. *sigh* I'm still feeling upset about next season, because it's such a long wait and I do not like the announced casting, but I'm trying not to think about it too much. :( I'm totally psyched out about Torchwood though. I cannot wait! It's like fanfiction gone mad! *dies*

And... SQUEE HP 7 this weekend! *boogies*
